Excitement!

We officially have our first Home Bow show! It is going to be on April 4th!! I am not real sure what to expect but I am hoping that it is a HUGE success. 2 weeks after that is the Enid Home Show craft fair. It is a 3 day event and I am also not sure what to expect from it. I have never done a craft fair. I think the last one that I was at was 15 years ago, at least! So we are working like mad to get our inventory built up for both events while trying to stay on top of different marketing things and custom orders. It's getting busy but I like it!! Well, off to place yet ANOTHER ribbon order. Like I will ever NEED more?!?!

Crazy Life

This weekend had to be the longest of my life!! My 2 1/2 year old has been trying to potty train for the past 3 weeks. She has bee doing i all on her schedule. Meaning that she will sit on the potty chair when she wants to and only when she wants to. Like when she wants a cookie and I won't let her have one because she refused to eat her dinner. I think we are almost to the you have to use it all day before you get a treat stage but I am afraid that her VERY independent self will just stop going all together. So on top of the frustration with her, my almost 18 month old has decided that she wants to do what her big sister is doing, and she used the potty chair twice this weekend.
I am about to go stir crazy from staying home and trying to convince my daughter (now daughters) that they really do want to use the potty chair and not the diapers!!!!
I have so very much work to do but can't seem to get anywhere with it since I just keep thinking I need to get out of here! Luckily the DH has been taking the kids to bed with him around 8:30 every night so I can get some work done. He really is great for helping out like that. :o) Now that I am through venting, I am off to get some of my crazy amounts of work done!

Bows Bows Bows

I made the biggest bow I have ever made yesterday. Normally I am of the less is more family but I couldn't resist seeing if I could actually do it. The result was a bow that measures 5 inches by 3.5 inches. It was almost bigger than my 18 month old model's head and she refused to take it off!! My kids are getting girlier by the day, my husband HATES it! I think he will be happy if they grow out of it but I love my little divas. My oldest had gotten ahold of my makeup a few times now and tells me she wants to have pretty eyes. It doesn't make much sense to me since I wear makeup about 3 times a month. They are too funny. Off to make some more bows!

Brand new to blogging

So this is my very first real blog. I must say that I am a little bit nervous. What to write, how to write and not sound like a complete moron. I am sure everyone feels that way when they start their first blog. So I guess a little about me and my little corner of the web.
I am a happily married stay at home military mom. I have 2 amazing little angels/monsters depending on the day. My oldest was born in June of 2006 and my youngest joined us in September of 2007. The biggest thing I learned from my children being so close together is that yes, you can still get pregnant when you are breast-feeding! The last year and a half has been very difficult but now that the girls are getting older, it is slowly getting easier.
I started making hairbows for my girls after one of my good friends taught me a few "tricks" in November of 2007. I have always been that crafty artsy type, so instantly I was hooked! I started a real webpage in November of 2008 and it was the scarriest thing I have ever done. I am the least computer smart person under 30 so it has been a real adventure, more on that later. This is all I can think of for now, off to get some new bows made!
